how do you overcome the fear of illness & death

i have a crippling fear of getting serious illness and my own mortality; death, maybe it's because i'm middle aged now, but i'm terrified of death and illness....i have my christian faith, but it is not strong enough to remove the fear i have in my heart.

does anyone truly know how you overcome the fear of illness & death?

No need to be deluded with christian dogma. Get some counselling or read a book to realize that by fearing death you are missing out on life.

@Offthetop I fear death and I have a life..bc I am not fearful 24/7.
