I Don't Have Low Self Esteem, I Have No Self Esteem

I'm insecure about my looks. Not because I'm shallow or weak minded. I care what other people think and find it difficult to express me as myself because I've created a protective shell around myself and I'm known only for that shell. I down play my intelect and laugh at pain. Im immature and awkward in situations to deflect serious thought. I. Struggling with depression. If I'm good looking which I've been told but don't believe them know you're not alone

Years ago, someone once asked me to describe a worthless person. I didn't agree that there was any such thing. So... then I couldn't really see myself that way.

@Abstraction Very profound statement. I love it. Still fighting my past.unfortunately in the human race I believe there are moraly corrupt people. Thank you for posting. I've seen so much it's hard to disassociate
