Some of the things that have helped me are creating my own world of self-worth. Do things that are meaningful that you enjoy. Mentor, tutor, volunteer. You know those opportunities are legit and positive, and the people there truly appreciate the time you spend. Become the person at work that is relied upon, regardless of the job or who asks. If someone gives you an accolade, tell them to tell your manager too. Eventually the fears and apprehension will fade to more manageable levels.

Human beings are devious and a certain amount of distrust is warranted, but I hope you will find just a couple or even one person who gives you the respect and compassion you deserve. 🙏
