My High School Reunion

I go home every 5 years. I love my hometown, i have family there and I love to see my friends. Next year is a big reunion.

Its amazing what the difference in living in various areas does to your appearance. I am shocked at the condition of my classmates. We have lost close to 100 people. We graduated over 400+ my senior year.

It looks like most have given up. Their hair is gray. they have put on weight. They just seem older to me. Women where I live would never let themselves go.

we shall see.

I feel the same when I look at my old school mates

Some have aged gracefully, others were rode hard and put away wet. Some I wouldn’t recognize and a few never changed.

Time can be cruel…and then some of them were just not as fortunate.

I wouldn’t compare myself…just be grateful you are still around to attend.

@LunarOrbit we have some classmates that are in really bad shape. one was tethered to the wall on an oxygen machine. they lived a hard life and now it is coming to roost. no, i love my classmates and wish them well. i am down in my weight. i can fit into my clothes with room.
