is it important to look good

what if you don't look good anymore should you still try to carry yourself with confidence? and wear what you like even though it might not suit you anymore?

this is how i feel sometimes, i feel my looks are not there anymore and that i don't look good like i did in my late teens, i am bald, i have aged prematurely...and sometimes, i don't like the way i look in the mirror.

any opinions?

With age, we all lose that "fresh" look of youth.

Balding is associated with higher testosterone; it means your libido & capacity is likely to last longer than for men who keep a full scalp of greying hair.

How you look after your health has cumulative effects. So if you haven't been exercising, eating right and all the rest, now's the time to start building healthy habits. It's not too late to reverse the effects of looking older than your age.

As for looking good...
good posture,
free and graceful movement,
good hygiene and grooming,
nicely chosen clothes that suit the weather and occasion,
and a pleasant, friendly, open manner
go a long way towards making a person attractive.

In the 41-45 bracket, many have gone through the sorrows of broken relationships. Some may be bruised. Others may have learned and healed. So there is definitely a large demographic out there for you to meet.

An emotionally mature woman prefers an emotionally mature man, and vice versa.
