I've changed tremendously in numerous ways. I'm not even the same person anymore.

I was 18 ten years ago, and I was shy, socially awkward, very unconfident, unhappy with myself and my life, and in my senior year of high school. I also thought I knew everything. 🤣 I was on SSRIs that were badly messing with me as well and were causing me to feel hopeless and depressed. I also had a bad outward appearance; overweight, poorly dressed, heavy eyeliner, frizzy dyed hair, and bad posture. It was plainly obvious I had no confidence and this unfortunately made me an easy target for those who wanted to put me down further in high school, and I also started to become jaded and cynical, and sometimes not a very nice person, as a result.

A lot of that changed after I left high school and I had quite a life changing event that ended up being a blessing in disguise. I moved away, started building my life and career and trying new things that helped me build my confidence, began to see that life can be good and that I was in more control of it than I had originally thought, began to feel good about myself for once, got off of the medications that were causing me issues, lost weight, started presenting myself better and taking better care of myself, and became much happier and at peace, not to mention more empathetic and kind. I've grown and improved a lot, especially mentally and emotionally, with every year. I still have struggles from time to time like everyone does, but life is so much better now and I love the changes I see in myself from 10 years ago.
