Do you ever create a post just to see a different post in the feed?

@Ghostinthemachine honestly ...i dont know anymore .

I got on last night, and found only three recent posts - everything else was like 7 hours or more old.

Which i dont get. If i can see a post after 7 hrs , but i dont see it when its posted .....what's going on?

I have a susspicion that when they redid the algorithm and reorganised other stuff like groups , it created some sort of reshuffling of how the feed is picked up, and strangled it.

Now , i dont imagine admin would want tk undo so much hard work ....so here we are: with them continually tweaking it to try and make it better ...and us getting frustrared and logging off.

Its not even 10% of what it was. Yet the people page shows more users than ever!
Its a mess.

@OogieBoogie I find it hard to believe with so many users online (seemingly) that there are so few posts, and yes, even when I refresh, it shows two or three recent posts, then jumps by hours.
Maybe it’s a sign, to be more productive with my time rather than complain

@Ghostinthemachine i wouldn't be suprised if it was a 'play' to make us post more, and increase their 'statistics '.

I just think its kinda cruel.

This place used to hum. And if you want more user interaction , why limit it?

I also wonder if this is no more than a social experiment to see how we react to being manipulated .

I’ve often thought the same. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was, and we are all unknowing lab rats.
Maybe the admins aren’t even human, but aliens?!
