Problems never go away until we learn what we need to learn and change what we need to change.

Faith does not mean trusting God to stop the storm. If He did, we'd never learn the lesson, and grow from it. It means trusting Him to strengthen us, as we walk through the storm.

Problems go away, when we allow God to teach us what we need to know. Yet we want to be stubborn and not listen. We want to do things our way, and say, "I'm doing it, anyway!" That's when we make things even worse, because as much as we'd like to think so, we are not smarter nor wiser than God. God gave us our conscience for a reason. It serves as a red light, warning us of danger ahead. Its purpose, to save us a whole lot of trouble and sorrow in our lives.

God sees the future you can't. If you are driving your car and I see you are falling asleep at the wheel, I'm going to warn you to wake up and get back on the road... you're steering us in the wrong direction, which will only lead to disaster. God's trying to save you from the same, but you keep telling Him you've got this. Are you smarter than God?

I'd rather trust God, whom I know for sure not only knows my future, but where it's headed. I also know He always has my best interest at heart. While I may not always agree with him or his decision, I know that He knows what's best for my life. He's never let me down, and He's never failed to be right, in the 49 years I've known Him.

Yes, God gave us brains for a reason. He knows we have enough intelligence to figure things out on our own. It's just that things go SO much better and smoother, when we seek our Father's guidance and wisdom... just as we did when we were kids and let dad lead us. Some learned that dad knew best, the hard way. I do know that dad never lead me astray. A good father, won't!

God is our good Heavenly Father. He watches over you, 24/7, and has your best interest at heart. His instructions are always aimed towards giving you hope and the best future you could possibly have...both here, and for eternity.

@SW-User Then don't read it. You probably read half the newspaper, at least, but you can't read 6 small paragraphs that take all of a minute? From the likes of your rude reply, which I don't appreciate your description, you weren't interested anyway, so no sweat off my brow if you move along. Thank you.
