Pffffft I just watched an interview where they talked about Germany's ongoing reluctance to send weaponry to Ukraine and the answer was that Germany

was afraid of following the footsteps of it's dark past. Oooh give me a fvcking break lol. Countries and governments aren't that thoughtful.

My guess is Germany doesn't want to send weaponry into Ukraine because it's looking ahead to after the war when very likely Russia has won through raw attrition, and the German-Russian trade that might still happen.

Also shifting it's markets off Russian gas might be an industry killer, and the prospect of raising a domestic army that can defend against an unconfirmed war with Putin and be deployed with neighbouring allies is a lot more costly than the status quo where defence is largely through the shared costs of NATO, mostly the US.

russia will lose badly, as nato is much more powerful, jus tlook how shit russians soldeirs have been fighting a much weaker country, imagine if they had to fight usa or uk, the war would be over in a day, germany has already sent lots of weapons to ukraine.
