@LucyGray It is not the responsibility of government to care for the sick or elderly. Historically, charity and family took care of anyone that needed help.
@LucyGray Government, by taking over the responsibility from charities and families, is making a step towards socialism... We have it in the UK and socialized medicine is SLOW... And the UK has been in decline ever since.
@NewBecky American health care providers, in the wake of covid-19, have admitted to lying to the American public for decades. They now recognize that Canada's universal health care system is doing a far better job.
And Britain's decline is due to its long colonial period having ended, not its health care system.
@LucyGray Hmmmm... The United States... especially the hospital called Mayo Clinic... has had an excellent reputation worldwide for healthcare... IF we need something and cannot get it here... we usually think of the United States or Israel. NOT Canada lolol
