@popmol Here's the origin of the original phrase:
''In 1705, Daniel Defoe published a poem critical of the British parliament in which he wrote, "Gentlemen, and if the Cap fits anybody let them wear it." In Britain, "if the cap fits" is still the norm; but in North America, by the late 18th century, the expression morphed into "if the shoe fits".
Some say it also refers to Disney's Cinderella, when the prince searched for the lady who left her shoe behind, hence...''If the shoe fits...'', it's hers.☺

@popmol Also.. sometimes people think we're a certain way and you know what? If they are wrong, then correct them but if they are right, I say, ''own it''. I am adult enough to take the consequences of my decisions.
