I hate when people say " it's all in your head"

You know what ? It's real to me and just another way to invalidate someone...and feel less than...pffft

If you push someone off a cliff, what they are experiencing is technically all in their head, too. It's called a nervous system.

It's a sad way for people to not want to help you deal with something. Find a new group of people that actually care about you, even if the ones who don't care ard your family.

Exactly, that's the problem, it's all in my head and I can't get it out, ffs. In all seriousness, I know what you mean, and saying that is a way to invalidate someone.
In many cases they are correct, but I don't like the insinuation that this means it's nothing.

Oh, it's in the most important organ that controls everything else in the body? Sounds like a reason to take this even more seriously then, so what are we going to do about this?

That's what they told me when I first got sick.

To be fair, it was brain inflammation, so they were TECHNICALLY right, but... 🤔😂
At least you have something in your head
isnt everything all the time just in anyones head? everything gets turn into electrical signals and interpreted by the brain. the fact the some else happens to agree [or not] with the interpreted signals is kinda coincidental.
