Not to be dismissive or make light of your diagnosis, how come no one wonders why 40 years ago hardly anyone suffered from these things when now almost everyone does?

I don’t think it’s because these things didn’t exist 40 years ago. I think it’s because 1. There wasn’t as much understanding of mental health and research as there is now and 2. There was a bigger stigma around mental illness 40 years ago and a lot of people didn’t speak out about their struggles or seek help as much as they do now. @xixgun
@SW-User exactly - I ran away from more than one psychologists diagnosis I'm my time - afraid to be labled.

@xixgun there was a stigma attached to this and very few people openly admitted to having these feelings so as to not be labeled crazy.
