I Will Be Myself And Not What Others Want Me To Be

This is a tough one for me. My spouse has certain expectations, many of which are not in my character.
I feel as though I have to be someone else in order to receive love and respect from my spouse.

Are they reasonable or not? You should be yourself unless that is being an asshole. Have you talked with her about this? Do you have reasonable expectations of her too?
