I Will Be Myself And Not What Others Want Me To Be

This goes without saying. I have a quote that I live by "do what I want" it has to be 4 words it loses its meaning if I put "I" before "do." I'm probably the most stubborn person in this world and I don't care who likes me.

I struggle finding words I hope have meaning in not putting in the 'I' first. To me, all one can do is be themselves, relate themselves, understand another, be compassionate, loving, kind and empathetic. If I came close to saying 'do what I want' it would be, 'do what I need'. I'm not making anything close to a judgment, just observing something.

@SW-User I'm not really sure I understand your observation, but it made sense to you which is awesomesauce because we are all individuals.

@Arorin Do you like to write? Or is it just an expression for you? (just a real Q)
Arorin · M
Yes I do enjoy writing, but I don't know in any way that I can write without expressing myself. My words are who I am as they are a direct relation to what my brain thinks up.

@Arorin Yep! If I'm guessing your trouble understanding my observation is about my difference in need/want? Ya gave me nothing to go on.
Arorin · M
You said you were not making a judgement, but the way you wrote everything was directly to how you feel about yourself so I'm confused how you would make a judgement about me when it's an observation about yourself. I was confused by the point in including why you said you aren't making a judgement. Personally for me what I want and what I need are different, but I'm not going to live life with just needs I'm going to fill it with all my wants.

@Arorin I never made a judgment about you; [I'm not going to explain this further unless you follow up]

No worries man i dont think we are understanding each other through typing. Sometimes verbally communicating is better but it is all good.

@Arorin True... a lot is carried by the weight of emotion in a face in understanding another.... Much love, respect and no worries
