Self Improvement requires work

My favorite self improvement author is Christian Larson. He proves that ANYONE can achieve anything they desire.
But you have to first, put your mind to it. You can ultimately achieve that which you put your positive
thoughts and creative energies into. You don't have to WORK hard, but you need to THINK hard.

Remember, if you constantly have negative thoughts, your life will have negative results.
Dark thoughts? Dark Life!

I think mindset is important, but it's only step one in a process comprised of many, many steps. Self motivations is important for example. My sister-in-law, (bless her) has a favorite rather condescending saying that goes "Well, not with that attitude..." when ever she hears someone thinking negatively. I like it.

And she's right in a way. But I also think you can't live life purely in the mind either. Most things take work, time, skills, learning, capital, good environment/supports, luck, etc, to gain success.

@Scribbles Well I believe all of that comes from what you create, and everything is created in
the mind first. People will work hard if they convince themselves first, that they can and will
achieve their goal. I'm sorry if I gave the impression that you need to do is think.

Please remember, everything starts with a thought, that thought manifests according to how you are thinking about it. The person that says, "I would like to become a Fireman, but I know I can't pass the physical"

That person has already lost in his mind, and he will never achieve his goal. But if he truly believed in himself, he could beat the odds against him, and become what he wants.
It happens all the time, but people do not realize that it all started in the mind,
with their relentless positive thoughts.

Do you ever watch golf? those PGA guys are all good, and they can
all win, on any given day. The only thing that separates the winners from non-winners,
is how they use their mind throughout the tournament.
