Have you ever been put on a performance improvement plan at your job or past jobs? (PIP)

Well, I got put on one yesterday. Some people say it gives you another chance to improve your performance, some say its just the first step into firing you and that the writing is already on the wall. Whatever happens, i'm prepared for it. Got a lot of money saved up for a few months of hard times

Dont sweat it. This is a good thing. Positive thinking people yield better results so think Positive.

If they do want to fire you so what you live and you learn. You weren't well prepared for this job anyway according to you.

If this is a genuine chance to imporove tackle it like you've never done before. Follow that dam plan and do extra.

Use every opportunity to your advantage

@REMsleep That was one hell of an inspirational speech.
All good level-headed advice.

@REMsleep yeah i did say thid was a role i wasnt prepared for, but i dont remember when i said that. When did i say that again? And also, i PERSONALLY think the person training me didnt do so well with training me, and shes very condescending in her tone, almost as if she enjoys it. Also very hard to listen to. She rambles on and on

@MntoNc maybe this will be the chance to gain the competency you were held back from achieving under her.

@Dainbramadge Ha Thank you. I try.

@MntoNc You said it in some other post. I can't remb but you've made a few posts about how this job has been hard from the start because they haven't provided the tools for you to succeed. If its not a good fit then its no sense in worrying about possibly gaining your freedom to get something which is a better fit for you.
Just do your best and start applying on the side as well.
