Do I have bad luck or something?

I'm a girl who really likes reading fiction books. Unfortunately, my hobby is not really something that is supported by my parents. They'd rather I read those boring informative stuff...so my only sanctuary when I was elementary was the school library. After I graduated from elementary, the elementary library suddenly had new books TT_TT the same happened when I graduated in high school. And now that I've graduated in college, my school suddenly offered a course/program that I'm really interested in... and to think that I've finished four years in college in a course/program I'm not THAT interested in....

you should be able to read fiction miss if you like too it is a great escape and brings your mind to great places

Yep... but I'm slowly losing interest in it since real life is starting to suck me in too much.... TT_TT

i felt that way also miss but when real life slaps me in the face i run to my books to take me away i really do it is my only answer

I guess mine is somewhat because I love my parents too much that I'm afraid to disappoint them so I just secretly read books and watch animes and stuff like that.

But sometimes I feel guilty. Hahaha.... I know that they are only doing what they think is best for me.

they are but miss you have your likes and needs also you do not have to feel guilty fiction is not a big sin miss reading is a guilty pleasure

I had the habit of unconsciously putting the people I love first before myself. If I had money and I saw something I like and something that my friend/family would like and I could only buy one, I would definitely buy what would make my friend/family happy... -sigh-

that is a ood trait miss but you can think of yourself once in a while also you can quietly read a book or watch a animie miss
