What's the best-looking and best-functioning calculator in your opinion?

IDK I really like the old designs, but these Nspires really take the cake ^w^

As much as i hate microsoft..... I have to give them propers "microsoft math" not only is it scientific/graphical calculator it allows you to store your own functions and algorithms.... you can change out screen-displays and skins and have number imported from other programs if you wanted too....although I never really saw much use for that last function....O.o
....
It broke my heart when microcrap discontinued it :'(

I would plug numbers into that thing just because. :D

I hate Crapple x'D MS isn't nearly as bad as Crapple is, but they're still bad. xD

I kind of feel that calculators are as obsolete as wristwatches... but I have yet to find a decent calculator app for my droid phone :(

And by coincidence, came across this article today, which pretty much sums up how I feel about graphing calculators (and also oscilloscopes, but that's a whole 'nother rant...)

Oops I didn't see this ehehe

I disagree with the final statement of the article. I mean, I will always be brand-loyal to TI, but I've recently seen that the Nspires are gradually replacing the TI-84s. Slowly but surely, I see more and more kids with them. I used to be one of the very few kids that owned one, and now I see more and more kids having them. Most kids, if they have a graphing calc, have a TI-84. I keep mine for sentimental value, but Pierre's *loads* superior in every way. Within 5 years, the TI-Nspire CX will become the new TI-84.

Casio fx-300MS is the one i've used since high school

Impressive, though when you do your hack, don't misuse the program called Nover nor do something wrong with the serial dock connector at the bottom of the calc otherwise you'll brick your calculator. Other than that sounds like a good plan.

Ehehe that's not what people use to hack the system. They normally use Ndless or something like that.

Depends if you're going to run linux on the calc. Though i never felt the need to hack my calc, when i was in high school i just took a laptop in and hacked the wifi network. Anyway good luck with your TI-Nspire CX

the one on my iphone ;)
TetrisGuy · 26-30, M
That doesn't count, since that's not a *calculator* but a phone. Calculator-functions don't count. It has to be strictly a calculator. Besides. Phone calcs suck arse.
Alex060811
I love it :) it's so pretty and it does the job! Plus it's more than a calculator! It's also a phone!
TetrisGuy · 26-30, M
Does what job? Of third grade math at most? Oh yuck!
I prefer real calculators, since that's their primary function and that's why they're much better at what they do without the useless other things. I hate phones.
