Flowers For Algerneon by Daniel Keyes. I was not in the habit of reading anything that I was actually told to read and I don't know why I buckled under and read this one. I'm just so glad I did. I'm 46 years old now so that was a good long while ago and yet I still recall the story as if I'd read it yesterday. It really stuck with me.
