What do you get when you cross a mountain climber and a mosquito?

Hey. you can't take the cross product of a scalar and a vector!(not my joke, but it's been a while since I posted a fresh math joke).

Do you not get it?
Mountain climber scales mountains. As in, he's a scaler. (scalar).
In virology, something that transmits disease is called a vector, which in math is something that has magnitude and direction.
Scalars in math have magnitude, but no direction. For instance, speed is a scalar. but velocity is a vector. Speed only has magnitude, velocity has direction.
Cross products is a special form of vector multiplication, but it requires both components to be a vector. It's also done in matrices.

So you basically cannot cross a mountain climber (a scalar) with a mosquito (a vector) because the mountain climber isn't a vector.

Well, they're not usually disease ridden xD

It was not that complicated when I thought of it... LOL

xD It's not a hard joke :P

Ahh now I remember why it was not that complicated. In my mind a vector is more of a rodent, and not an insect.

Ah. When I first heard the joke, I heard it as mosquito. They are, after all, the worst of vectors.
Wigglebottom
True ! Statistically speaking they cause more death than any other vector out there. Malaria being a major thing.

They're also the most dangerous living thing.
