I didn't get to see ALMA up close, but from the lodge I stayed at, throughout the night you could see the light from the ground-base glistening from a distance. I have a somewhat blurry photo (the haze was moving in so it isn't too clear) of Orion just rising over the mountain, with the small observatory domes in the foreground, ALMA on the mountainside, and the LMC and SMC on the side :D Heck, the Orion Nebula is in color in my photo x3

I have one already on Imgur.
But here's a comparison.
This is me doing astrophotography with my phone at home. I've showed you this pic already I think (of Hubble next to Arcturus).

This is me doing astrophotography at the lodge, with the bare minimum of proper equipment (a DSLR with dark noise reduction and ISO expansion turned on, a properly mounted tripod, and a remote trigger).

It was taken in bulb mode, roughly 1 minute, at f4.0, with ISO set to H, which I think was effectively 3200.
Astrophotography could easily be the most expensive hobby ever, as getting the proper materials for it could easily run you into the tens of thousands of dollars. But my picture proves that with just basic photography equipment, you can take something show-worthy, even if it DOES have star trails zoomed in.
Oh my god I can't even tell you how beautiful the sky was. BTW the sky doesn't actually look like that. It looks like a bluish-green haze with a darkish section taken out of it. Nothing but a handful of stars are visible in color with the naked eye. But nevertheless sexy! Yes I think space is sexy you should know this by now xV
