WTF is wrong with people that think "ignorance is bliss?"

As in, the people that use it as an argument to remain idiots. "Ignorance is bliss" does not mean "reject sound evidence when presented with it and choose to live in an uneducated fantasy." It means you were more comfortable not knowing I draw pr0n of the International Space Station. Like seriously. Ignorance is still IGNORANCE, and you look like an utter dumbfukk if you choose to remain ignorant and live in a fantasy world...i.imgur.com/o89aun2.jpgIn picture form.

Yeah so many religions begin because of someone doing something to satisfy curiosity. In the idealic garden of Eden unaware of adversity two people were created to simply exist for the purpose of being fruitful and multiplying. Surely we could say the creator is an antagonist because he made the knowledge tree and vaguely instructed not to eat of it lest they die... But why hang this over someone who doesn't know what death is for nothing died before and existing is all they knew... There wasn't ever forethought in any of this.
The creator gave such horrible consequences that indulging in knowledge does. It simply could reflect today's desire for knowledge and this is what we all crave. We wish to exit the idealic world to indulge in more knowledge because after you know, there's no going back to the ignorant state because knowledge is power and power is something that an authoritative dictator doesn't want you to have...

Yep, that's the lowest common denominator... Supposedly people wanted to see how we land such a conclusion.
