to go far enough to the left you turn green, and go far enough to the left you turn red again. Political color terminology is funny.

And it doesn't make ANY sense either. Right wing should be blue and left wing should be red. Look at an electromagnetic spectrum. Blue light is farther to the right than red light because the wavelenghts are shorter and the frequency is higher. So, in reality, a democrat SHOULD be red, while a socialist would be infrared, and a communist would be microwave light. A republican should be blue, while a principalitarian or a theocrat would be purple or maybe even ultraviolet, and a fascist would be X-ray.
