T.I been around a long time - Bought my first calculator in 1973 or'74
and for $49.00 it could do exponents x' and sq. root..
The charger was $10 bucks more :)

TI is absolutely AMAZING. X3 I think all my calculators from fifth grade onwards were TI.
Except Apple sells one crappy product for the price of two good ones with horrid rude tech support.

I know I'm a network engine and going to school, it was TI for me, though I will say, the one Casio I did own at the time had at the time had a 40 bit processor and small...It was a nice one.

Portability doesn't matter for me. I carry around this giant Nspire CX everywhere.
