Maybe he's secretly always drunk when he looks at me, and that's why he thinks I have the looks. xD I wouldn't say I'm fugly but I ain't pretty, that's for sure. xD

I've fallen for this many times in the past myself so I know it can be difficult to break the pattern... But if someone compliments you, especially your partner, don't play it off as something silly - it's not a joke. This really is how your partner sees you, how they should see you.

It's easy to downplay things like this for one reason or another but it might prove to be harmful in the long run.
So please, instead of dismissing their feelings, say ''thank you'' :)

I have plenty of self confidence. Not that looks matter and all, but I look fucking retarded until I actually fix myself up. I look great in a bodycon dress, although my chubbiness shows, and if I let down my hair and comb it and stuff, I can look pretty great. I have a good ass and all. But attractive I ain't, as for whatever reason,I literally look retarded half the time.
