So I spotted M11 (Wild Duck Cluster) at UF's observatory night thing, despite the light pollution.
It's a mag 7.0 cluster, which is surprising that the telescope allowed such fine details of, because the limiting magnitude at the zenith was probably 1 (aka really bad) due to light pollution. Who the hell plops an observatory smack middle of campus? But I also got to see the binary star Alberio, and I really enjoy the observatory nights because it's the only way I can actually look through a 'scope on a regular basis.
