Language...since we use language to describe everything it best describes the universe.

True, true, but what is the best language to describe the universe in?
MrHazeinCherubsGrace
Well..mathematics probably.
MrHazeinCherubsGrace
Well besides language I've always thought of the universe in terms of fractals...everything sort of being a microcosm of something else..electrons orbit the atom..earth orbits the sun..the sun orbits around the galaxy..I'd imagine this process probably goes on forever in either direction...Our universe viewed from a significant distance could just be an electron on a dogs ass.

I couldn't have said it better myself. You sir, are perfect.
MrHazeinCherubsGrace
Well thank you. Another way I've heard the universe described is as a novelty preserving engine which is kind of true as well.
TetrisGuy · 26-30, M
I like the fractal idea better. I love fractals... quite obviously xD
MrHazeinCherubsGrace
Hahaha yes I can see that. The fractal universe is the only thing that really makes sense...There also seems to be a theory about the universe being a hologram...which kind of makes sense since holograms are also fractals..the smallest part containing the whole haha.
TetrisGuy · 26-30, M
I believe the universe is a simulation--that simulation's equations being prominently fractal-based.
MrHazeinCherubsGrace
Yeah simulation theory seems to be the one that makes the most sense...Well from what I've heard since we're moving towards a time where virtual reality will be indistinguishable from regular reality there's already something like a 30% chance that it's already happened haha.
TetrisGuy · 26-30, M
Yep.
MrHazeinCherubsGrace
But really if you think about it..whether you are in an actual reality or a simulated reality that is indistinguishable from reality....it really doesn't make much difference :P
TetrisGuy · 26-30, M
True, because reality is what you make of it :3
MrHazeinCherubsGrace
:D

And even though you may be but one iteration of this fractal, every iteration holds up an infinite branch, no matter how big or small :D
