What the hell did you think I did? I wrote both terms and that bitçh of a teacher STILL marked it wrong and told me that she's never seen "sulphur" in her life and she expects every student to look off the list she posted online, because clearly the first 20 or so elements of the table are so rare that no one has ever heard of them or memorized them before high school! And CLEARLY no student would have learned a variant spelling outside of their school, and it's completely logical to mark off "flavour" because "flavor" is always the CORRECT spelling. UGH.

I'm sorry, I thought you were an intelligent individual that could understand that science isn't about which spelling variation is correct or not, and is about whether or not you understand the material and are effectively able to convey your message to other individuals.
