It's answered as "undefined." This is because zero can go into a number infinitely many times. For y=1/x, as x→∞ (as x approaches infinity, that is to say, the closer and closer it gets to infinity), y→0. as x→0, y→∞. Infinity is not a number. x cannot be exactly zero. y cannot be exactly infinity (as infinity is not a number).This is why we use limits, and why asymptotes exist.
