If you could visit Sagittarius A* (supermassive black hole), would you?

Sagittarius A* is the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy, about 27000 light years away. I would, simply because despite certain death, it'd be one amazing way to die :D

Yeah lol. Your death would be amazing and instantaneous.

Not really instantaneous per se. Quite fast, but not instantaneous. Spaghettification would take a few minutes, I'd assume. xD
StraCat
Well I think "spaghettification" (I'm stealing that one) would be more like a few seconds. Either way, I think it would be way too slow for you lol.

Spaghettification, believe it or not, is an actual term. xD
It would depend on your angle of entry. Straight in, yes, a few seconds. "In orbit" and it'd take much, MUCH longer...
StraCat
Aah I see. That's very cool.

Can't believe that's an actual term lol!

Yup. You get broken up into a thin wisp of less-than-an-atom-wide vapor. You're literally a quark-width strand of quark soup. o.o
StraCat
Lol sounds like fun.
