I want to start a sort of "Young Marxists of UF" club at my college, but a club requires

that you have a president and a treasurer, and that'd imply class, and would partially defeat the purpose of the club. o.o Besides I do not know of any other Marxists on campus yet xD I'm sure they are there. We'd be more of a community service club than a political one, I suppose. Although I can see us talking about politics in general or Marxist ideas. xD

Having roles as President or Treasurer don't imply class. They're just roles common to any organization.

No I mean because technically we would have to tell them what goes on, we'd be slightly above 'em. o.O

Still doesn't count. Egalitarianism doesn't negate the need for leadership and/or hierarchical structure - just that ones social status isn't dictated by an arbitrary title, lineage, assets, etc.

I see.
I found out that there's something called the Marxist Reading Group here. I'll go to the annual meeting thing, and ask any of the students if they want to form a Marxist Gators group.

Call the president "General Secretary" - it was good enough for Comrade Stalin

Stalin was a shithead. Lenin was the better dictator. But I don't like Stalinism or Leninism too much. Meh, I suppose I could just call myself President for formality reason, but allow everyone to have a say on what goes on.
