I tried to take fireworks pictures, but most of them came out looking something like a fractal flame. What's the proper

camera settings (in Manual mode) in terms of shutter-speed, f-stop, and ISO when taking fireworks pictures? I mean, I like fractal-bokeh pictures, but that wasn't my intention, and I really want to learn to take fireworks pictures.

Was it blurry or too bright?

Some of them were a little blurry, but the main problem was that it captured either too much or too little of the chaos, the color didn't really show, and it was a little too bright. I put my f-stop the lowest it would go, and used varying shutter speeds in order to make the "tails."
