I saw the International Space Station pass over the previous morning. Why is it so gorgeous?

I know what I see is just a little point of light, but just knowing what exactly I'm seeing just gets me all excited. What a gorgeous, gorgeous spacecraft, and in binoculars, there's definite form to the glaring dot. Nngh the ISS is sooo smexxxy x3 Gonna pass over in about half an hour again!
