I just want to be surrounded by as many kitties as I can afford to sustain, don't you?

Yes, yes, let's crack the "surrounded by poosy joke" right now so no one will later. But I'm serious. I love cats so much x3 they're so fricken cute! Screw toxoplasmosis; I don't care if these things are mind-controlling freaks. They're so fricken ADORABLE.

Nope why surround yourself with another countries dinner.

Actually, China doesn't really eat cats, and dog is a delicacy. Cats are worshipped in Japan. It would be like people in India eating beef.
HorusRules
North Korea does and parts of the south. Also parts of India I have visited.

South Korea? They worship cats more than China. North Korea... they do some weirdass shìt there anyways. India... that's really odd, given that most Indians are vegetarians or only eat chicken and fish if they do eat meat.
HorusRules
No they are not they eat whatever they can in some villages its either that or starve go to India and travel you will learn what goes into the pot.

Dude. I'm fricken Indian. xD Though I live in America. But I eat a crapton of Indian food because my parents lived in India for most of their life.
Cats and dogs are the only thing I wouldn't eat if I was near death. But I mean, I wouldn't normally eat a squirrel or something. But if I had to, I would. No one really eats cats just to eat them, and in the few places they do eat dog, it's an expensive delicacy
HorusRules
Really then you would know. I had been visiting family on my grans side and I know what went into the pot as I was watching it being killed and prepared. I have a lot of doubt you are Indian if you have no knowledge of what gets eaten.

I'm *south* Indian.
IDK what happens in North India.

Its the same the world over in Africa it use to be children when food was short which went into the pot.
Germans have the seagull as a sacred animal yet when food was short the ate them.
It does not matter what the animal is if people have the choice between death or eating something others consider a pet they will eat the pet.
or in the case of Stalingrad when the Germans had the city under siege the Russians ate children they kidnapped.

Yes. People would technically eat anything remotely edible if they needed to. It's not a standard food like, say, chicken is, world-wide. Chicken is the most widely accepted meat.

Hahaha it reminds me of Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal."
HorusRules
Yeah a sketch show it had a kid coming home asking whats for dinner and his mum said get in the pot and I will tell you when its ready.
it did remind me of the stories of what levels people will sink to when food is short.
Sorry we seemed to get off on the wrong foot you do seem to be very easy to converse with. I have not heard of Jonathan Swift I will google it later when I have some free time.

He's a famous satire writer. We had to read his A Modest Proposal essay in AP Lang last year. And yeah, I'll talk about most things, except for politics, pop-culture, religion, and sports.
