Ever notice if you spend 3 hours trying to fix something, you develop terminology for it?

Me and my dad fixing Christmas lights, causing us to really understand its electrical properties (shocking me several times in the process) and coming up with terminology such as "terminators" to refer to a specific type of bulb along its length, "bases with nodes" to refer to the little bits that fit into the terminator sockets, etc. xD

That sounds like me and my hubby when we do a project. It is just a lot easier than calling it "You know, that thingy with the bits sticking out of it. No, not that one! The thingy with the shorter bits. Right, it looks like that one, but the bits are more black." LOL
