Ever notice if you spend 3 hours trying to fix something, you develop terminology for it?

Me and my dad fixing Christmas lights, causing us to really understand its electrical properties (shocking me several times in the process) and coming up with terminology such as "terminators" to refer to a specific type of bulb along its length, "bases with nodes" to refer to the little bits that fit into the terminator sockets, etc. xD

We were trying to diagnose why one segment of serial lights wasn't working. We ended up breaking another segment, and ended up spending another hour trying to get that segment working again. XD
