Are you officially registered (i.e. legally recognized as) as a party other than Democrat, Republican, or Independent?

For instance officially recognized as (and not just by personal identification) Green, Socialist, or Libertarian (or one of their respective subparties). Florida has closed primaries, so I had to switch from Independent to Democrat to be able to vote in the primaries. But after the election season is over (both primaries and final), I'm probably going to register with CPUSA and stay there for another 4 years until the next election season comes about, unless I moved to a state with open primaries.

I never understood the purpose of registration, this is a part of the American system that is mysterious to me. I don't want people to know what my voting intentions are.

You strike me as a centrist on both the economic and social scale TBH xD

I'm mostly apolitical and usually vote strategically. I'm a centrist economically but very liberal socially and I have an anti-authoritarian streak.

I hope you're in a state with open primaries O_O Nobody I know feels the Bern more than I do (and I know a lot of people who feel the Bern), but I live in a closed-primary state, and I had to switch from Independent to Democrat to vote for da Bern. xD

I am actually an American citizen voting from outside the country. So far I can only vote for the president. A little bit confused on how to vote during the primary outside the US but I am a registered independent.
