Well i dont know if i want a girlfriend but i dont wanna be the odd one out

I don't think I was this obsessed about this before my friend whom I considered like me got one and i am freaking out.I am only 21 so I have the whole life ahead of me, but I keep picturing the worst case scenario.What do I do?

Yes it is. But the problem is I am too afraid to get into anything. Fear of rejection, fear of hurt and what not.
