Why did you tell him / her that you "love" him / her?

and now?

I know myself deeply, now. once I'm confident in her character, knowing what she's proud of and ashamed of, and I still can envision a happy future with her, it means I've fallen in love with her...all things good and bad. that's why I'd tell her. it's not how she makes me feel that's important, it's who she is that's important.

why do I love him. Well, that's kind of like asking a person why they like water. I do because, at a base, I guess, I need him.
