Why don't gay people form a gay church so they can be married?

The church itself in many places are not recognizing this, and will not allow it. It is the constitution that want to make it legal, in some countries. In some countries being gay is a crime punishable by law. This matter is still not recognized where i am, but surely the gay and lesbian community have been trying to get it to that point without success for many years. It is still not legal for same sex couples to get married here. Same sex couples are more accepted today than many years ago. But in a lot of countries being gay will never be accepted fully.

As far as I know there is no legal restriction in the USA or the UK to prevent gay people setting up their own church. I don't refer to backward countries.
