I need a job
I've been applying for jobs for over 2 months now. But haven't heard back from any of the couple dozen applications I've filled out. Any suggestions? A good website for a resume template?

You should call jobs 2 weeks after applications. Places tend to get sooo many applications for example maybe Whole foods gets 50 applications but they never read them but only 10 people call. Those people put more effort and are showing they REALLY want the job unlike the lazy ones who didnt call and from those then they choose like 5 maybe for interviews and then 1 or 2 actually gets hired

Its always a good idea to have someone look over your resume, check for any errors and comment on what is good and what could be changed. its also a good idea to turn in applications to the manager so they can get an impression of you and it helps you stand out when they are looking for employees.

See if your town has a career counselor or a job resource center that will have a professional look over your resume. They should be able to help you update it do that it's more effective and some of them may even help you network with potential employers.

I always have a hard time answering that question. I've enjoyed retail over the years I've done it. But not sales. Organizing and setting up merchandise. If that helps answer the question
