Hunting ks great provided you either 1:eat what you kill or B: only hunt for nuisance extermination. Hunting for sport is just stupid. And before anyone says "why kill a wild animal when you can buy meat at the store" because you will never find beef as lean as venison. The meat is better for you and the animal actually had a chance at life, rather than being bred in a cage to killed and eaten.

As an add-on, what are your thoughts on using the animal? As in.. After it has been slaughtered, is using as much as possible important to you or not?

To an extent, if I'm hunting coyotes (a nuisance animal where I am from) about the only thing useable on them is their fur. But deer on the other hand, can be far better utilized. Their bones and organs are very nutritious for dogs and their fur is beautiful.
