Heartbreak can last depending on the person. For some it may be days, weeks, months, years, and even decades. But one can only escape that pain when they either decide to move on or except reality. For me I've only been in love once and I experienced heartbreak, but it only took me a little over a year to get over it, but that was only because I accepted reality.
