I've got three simple answers to what causes, and how to stop wars!

What causes wars? Money, Religion, and Power, the three primary things all evil people who start wars crave. Let's take a look at some examples through time, it can by any, all, or a combination of those three causes alone that creates a war.

Now, how do you stop wars from happening, if there was any possible way to get people to tolerate each other's differences, I did n not say Accept, but TOLERATE, and agree to disagree, then yeah, I believe it is possible. however, with over 80 billion worldwide, I don't think it is at all possible or probable that will ever happen, especially when you take the millions of different conditions, experiences, and personality types that create an individual who would get involved in wars.

Also, it is natural, and of human nature, to be violent. That is true. People fight over just about anything, there is always a war going on somewhere, even if it's just 2 people in the supermarket duking it out over a piece of bread or a McCain/Obama arguement, it's stilil a war, weather 2 people against each other, or legions of regional armies against one another for world conquest. The key to success are various forms of power, some people have it, some don't, life is cruel and unkind that way, and there is no way to totally prevent it.

So all this yabbing comes down to one conclusion, to end wars forever, we would have to erradicate every form of life as it is, because even animals have wars: dogs, cats, they have their reasons, even bugs have wars. Hornet swarms raid honey bee hives for dinner! Basic instinct calls for survival and progression of the species - something only given to those tough enough to live it out.

And that is my simple take - War is a natural reaction to overtake another power, the only way to overtake another power is to fight for it weather it be direct violence or abstractly, and the only way to eliminate war is to eliminate power, which leaves us with nothing.
