Not always but most times- you're right.
Although it does kind of reflect real life. Most black women I know are married or are dating black men.
Black men tend to cross the racial divide more often- though.

I'm not sure. It would be a good research topic for a school report- it's an edgy topic, it's relevant in today's society and everyone has an opinion on it.
