stronger,finally. It was killing me for a long time. I was suicidal. Then I turned to God and He made me see my worth and purpose. Now I don't have to let abusive people control me or ruin my life. I woke up and realized I had a choice. I did not have to believe all the nasty things they were saying. I could believe what God says about me and what I know to be true. Also, lost everything at least 6 times. It is no longer devastating. It made me less materialistic, better able to enjoy the moment and be content with very little.

While I do not share your belief in God as I am not religious, I am glad to hear that you've come to realize that life's many struggles will, with time, strengthen one's self and perhaps one's soul if such a thing does exist. Keep believing in whatever divine philosophies you feel you need to garner strength and resolve because with God or without God, the belief in yourself is ultimately, what matters.
