Programs like word perfect and DOS were still yet to be created and I was still doing I B M Keypunch cards I was 16 at the time

I used DOS for a short time. I recently heard there had been a DOS "underground" similar to today's internet but I personally knew nothing about it.

You should have kept it as it turns out that DOS , Word Perfect and the the programs that are configured with them were recalled by microsoft because in reality they all are Windows Base programs .
