if can't live as myself unmedicated ..then whats the point of living at all? I'm damaged.. damaged goods go to the trash

You are looking at this wrong. I take heart meds. Should I stop taking them and die because I am damaged? Of course not. Stupidest thing ever. With my heart meds I live just fine. I am also bipolar. I spent years fighting it, going off of my meds, and feeling the same way you do. But it is absolutely the same as my heart condition. I live a normal, happy life on my meds (albeit with a lot of mood swings). Why is an issue with my brain different than an issue with my heart?

I'm the same, have to take pills all the time to keep the balance but then I don't feel like myself. And if I don't take em, then there's no knowing when I might snap.

Each to their own, I suppose. I don't plan on living a particularly long life (in as much as you can plan a thing like that anyway) so hopefully my issues will be buried with me soon enough. Sleep the long sleep and everything goes quiet, or somethin' like that, lol.

Think of having small wins in life. You might never get rid of that voice but you can overcome it by doing things that your afraid of. like if that voice says your not going to have a good day, plan out the day as if its going to be the best day ever. And listen to very positive music that motivates you to have a great day.
