Do you think an age restriction could help keep ep from government problems?

let's say if the site got better with mods..(who actually did something and didn't disappeared like I've seen) and if the age limit had to be 18 ..no more 13-15 and so on

No. Stopping all the pedophiles would help. The youngsters are not the issue it's the oldies. Really i think the main issue is the anonymity. the Government don't like it because they can't tell who is saying what...but also..they can't monetise the site through advertising. In it's present form the site cannot continue - that seems to be the owner's view - I think I agree. It was actually getting out of control.

i don't think age restrictions would matter much. i think it's more problems with the government trying to "fight" terrorism.

yeah, i think that's why they're closing down. they don't want to allow the government to snoop on their sight when it's supposed to be anonymous. i think this is tune biggest factor, at least that's what I'm getting out of all that I've read.

Lol no. The government spies on everything internet related. I seriously doubt it had to do with kids being here. Almost every message board I've ever seen you only had to be 13, unless it was a pornog website.

It's the anonymity of ep!
Governments want ALL internet accounts to be linked to a registered e-mail. So they know how to find you!!

I think many of the 13 year old on year are 12, there's no legit proof that you're over 13

yeah but it's a safety measure to show you prevent minors the best you could ..also mods would help..not saying I'm a fan of mods..but its better than no EP
